Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: September 17, 2026
About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Zero Debt Degree Scholarship Database application and related services operated by Janeisha Cambridge (collectively, the “Services”). They apply to free accounts, paid subscriptions, scholarship tools, educational resources, and related features.
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, accessing restricted features, or selecting an acceptance control, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not proceed with portions of the Services that require acceptance.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account, completing an applicant profile, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Services. You are responsible for maintaining your account information, safeguarding your login credentials, and activity occurring through your account.
You may not impersonate another person, create an account using materially false information, access another user’s account without authorization, or knowingly permit unauthorized use of your account. You must promptly notify us if you reasonably believe your account credentials have been lost, stolen, or compromised.
If you are not legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, a parent or legal guardian must provide any authorization or consent required by applicable law. We may restrict or suspend accounts used unlawfully, fraudulently, without authorization, or in material violation of these Terms.
Scholarship Database
The Services provide access to scholarship listings and organizational tools intended to assist users with identifying and managing potential scholarship opportunities. Free accounts currently provide access to 100 scholarships, together with applicable features for saving opportunities, monitoring deadlines, and organizing scholarship information.
Scholarship listings may be added, modified, closed, removed, or become unavailable as scholarship providers change their programs and requirements. Access to a listing does not establish eligibility, continued availability, affiliation with the provider, selection for an award, or entitlement to scholarship funds.
We may modify the selection of scholarships or features available through a free account as the Services change. Any material limitations applicable to a feature will be presented within the application where appropriate, and users remain responsible for confirming scholarship details before relying upon them.
Applicant Profiles
Certain features may require an applicant profile containing information relevant to scholarship matching, such as your academic history, intended major, location, interests, goals, activities, experiences, hardships, or financial circumstances. You are responsible for providing accurate information and updating material details when they change.
Profile information may be used to identify scholarship opportunities that appear relevant to available eligibility criteria. The usefulness of those results depends partly on the completeness and accuracy of information you provide. Incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated profile information may affect the scholarships identified for you.
Personal information submitted through your applicant profile will be collected, used, retained, and otherwise handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy. You should provide only information that is accurate, relevant to the Services, and that you are legally authorized to submit through the application.
Curated Scholarship Matches
Paid subscription plans provide curated scholarship matches based on information contained in your applicant profile and scholarship criteria available to us. Pathfinder currently provides 10 curated matches each month, while Trailblazer currently provides 20 curated matches each month, subject to the applicable subscription terms.
A curated “match” means that a scholarship has been identified as potentially relevant based on available profile information and scholarship criteria. A match does not confirm that you satisfy every eligibility requirement, guarantee acceptance of an application, reserve scholarship funds, or represent that you will receive an award.
Scholarship providers independently establish eligibility requirements, application procedures, deadlines, selection criteria, and award decisions. You remain responsible for reading the complete requirements and confirming your eligibility directly with the applicable scholarship provider before submitting an application.
Scholarship Information
Scholarship information available through the Services may originate from scholarship providers, educational organizations, publicly available materials, or other third-party sources. Requirements, deadlines, award amounts, application procedures, availability, and selection criteria are controlled by the applicable provider and may change without notice.
We may update scholarship information as appropriate, but we do not warrant that third-party information will always be complete, current, accurate, or continuously available. Before relying upon a listing or submitting an application, you are responsible for verifying material scholarship information directly with the applicable provider.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, displaying a scholarship within the Services does not mean that Janeisha Cambridge or Zero Debt Degree sponsors, administers, endorses, represents, or is affiliated with that scholarship or its provider. Scholarship providers remain solely responsible for their programs and award decisions.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for determining your eligibility, reading scholarship requirements, completing applications, preparing required materials, verifying submitted information, monitoring deadlines, and submitting applications correctly and on time. The Services are intended to assist with these activities, not replace your responsibility for them.
Saved scholarships, dashboard tools, deadline information, notifications, reminders, and similar features are organizational resources and should not serve as your sole source for important requirements or dates. You should independently confirm submission deadlines and application requirements with each scholarship provider.
We are not responsible for missed deadlines, incomplete applications, submission errors, changes made by scholarship providers, unavailable opportunities, third-party technical problems, rejected applications, or award decisions made by third parties. You remain responsible for your applications and communications with providers.
No Guarantee of Results
Use of the Services does not guarantee a scholarship award, financial aid, college admission, reduced educational expenses, debt-free graduation, or any particular academic, financial, or professional result. Scholarship outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including provider requirements, applicant pools, funding, and selection decisions.
A scholarship appearing within the database or being identified as a curated match does not constitute a representation that you qualify for the opportunity or will receive an award. Scholarship providers independently determine eligibility, select recipients, establish award amounts, and administer their scholarship programs.
Testimonials, scholarship awards, examples, student experiences, or statements concerning previous results describe individual circumstances and are provided for informational purposes. They do not constitute promises, warranties, or guarantees that another user will obtain the same or similar scholarship or financial result.
User-Submitted Content
You may submit profile information, essays, résumés, responses, documents, application materials, and other content through applicable portions of the Services. You represent that information and materials you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you possess any rights or permissions necessary to submit them.
You retain ownership of original content that you create and submit. You grant Janeisha Cambridge a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, process, reproduce, and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate the application, administer your account, and provide the Services you request.
You may not knowingly submit fraudulent documents, fabricated qualifications, plagiarized materials, unlawful content, materially misleading statements, infringing materials, or information belonging to another person without authorization. We may restrict access where submitted content materially violates these Terms or applicable law.
Educational Resources
The Services may provide scholarship information, educational materials, examples, prompts, organizational tools, application resources, or other scholarship-related content. These resources are provided for educational and informational purposes and do not constitute legal, tax, investment, accounting, or professional financial advice.
You remain responsible for reading, checking, and approving materials before submitting them to a scholarship provider, college, university, or other organization. Use of educational resources does not transfer responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, originality, or suitability of your final application materials to us.
You are responsible for complying with applicable rules concerning authorship, original work, editing, outside assistance, artificial intelligence, and academic integrity. Where legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice is required for your circumstances, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.
Subscription Plans
The Services currently offer Pathfinder for $25 USD per month, providing 10 curated scholarship matches each month, and Trailblazer for $65 USD per month, providing 20 curated scholarship matches each month. Trailblazer also provides access to the entire scholarship database available through the application.
Other features associated with each subscription will be identified within the application or during purchase. The price, features, billing frequency, and other material subscription terms displayed and accepted at checkout will apply to your purchase, including where those terms reflect an applicable promotion or authorized pricing change.
Subscription pricing and features may change as the Services develop. Where required by applicable law, we will provide applicable notice before a material pricing or subscription change affects an existing paid subscription. Changes to scholarship availability may occur independently as third-party opportunities open, close, or expire.
Billing and Automatic Renewal
Pathfinder and Trailblazer are recurring monthly subscriptions. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the subscription fee and billing terms displayed at checkout to be charged to your selected payment method at the applicable billing interval until the subscription is canceled in accordance with these Terms.
Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless canceled before the applicable renewal date. By authorizing recurring billing, you permit applicable subscription charges without requiring separate approval before each renewal, subject to any additional notice, consent, or authorization required by applicable law.
Payments may be handled by a third-party payment processor, and its separate terms and privacy practices may apply to payment processing. Where payment information is submitted directly to the processor, we do not store complete payment card numbers on our servers. You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information.
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel a recurring subscription using the cancellation method made available through the application, your account, or another cancellation method presented when you subscribe. Cancellation prevents subsequent renewals but does not ordinarily reverse a subscription charge that was validly incurred before cancellation.
Following cancellation, access to paid features may continue through the remainder of the applicable paid billing period unless otherwise stated when you cancel. Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated in the applicable purchase terms, partial billing periods are not prorated and amounts already charged are not refundable.
Any trial, promotion, discount, refund, or additional cancellation terms specifically displayed and accepted during purchase will apply to that transaction. Nothing in this section limits any cancellation, refund, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be restricted under applicable federal or state law.
Third-Party Services
The Services may contain information from or links to scholarship providers, colleges, universities, payment processors, educational organizations, websites, platforms, and other third parties. Those third parties operate independently and may maintain their own terms, privacy practices, requirements, and procedures.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, security practices, availability, application systems, actions, omissions, or scholarship decisions. A link, listing, or reference within the Services does not by itself constitute sponsorship, affiliation, approval, or endorsement of that third party.
Your interactions with third parties are between you and the applicable third party and may be governed by separate agreements and policies. You are responsible for reading applicable terms and evaluating third-party requirements before submitting personal information, making payments, or entering into an agreement.
Acceptable Use
You may use the Services only for lawful, personal, scholarship-related, and educational purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Services to commit fraud, falsify scholarship qualifications, impersonate another person, violate another person’s rights, or engage in conduct prohibited by applicable law.
You may not interfere with application security, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software, circumvent access restrictions, disrupt application functionality, or use automated means to access restricted portions of the Services. You also may not assist another person in engaging in prohibited conduct.
You may not scrape, systematically extract, reproduce, redistribute, republish, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the scholarship database or proprietary materials without prior written authorization. We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the Services or applicable rights.
Intellectual Property
The application, database organization, software, branding, educational materials, graphics, text, videos, worksheets, and other original materials are owned by Janeisha Cambridge or applicable licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party scholarship materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use applicable proprietary materials solely for your personal scholarship-related and educational purposes. No other right, title, or interest in the Services or proprietary materials is transferred to you.
Creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or accessing materials does not authorize you to reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, license, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from proprietary content. All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved by their respective owners.
Availability and Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, continuous availability of a scholarship, accuracy of all third-party information, or that any scholarship match will result in eligibility or an award.
Access may be interrupted or affected by maintenance, updates, technical failures, internet connectivity, third-party service providers, security events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for legal, technical, operational, or business purposes.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. Nothing in these Terms restricts any warranty, statutory protection, consumer right, or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be restricted or waived.
Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Janeisha Cambridge and applicable personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to the Services, even where the possibility of such damages has been communicated or reasonably foreseeable.
Where legally permitted, this limitation applies to missed opportunities or deadlines, scholarship decisions, inaccurate third-party information, interrupted access, data loss, or reliance on scholarship information. Aggregate liability relating to a paid Service will not exceed amounts you paid for that Service during the preceding 12 months.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Janeisha Cambridge harmless from third-party claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Services, material breach of these Terms, fraud, intentional misconduct, or infringement of another person’s rights.
Nothing in this section limits or disclaims liability that cannot lawfully be limited under applicable law. Any limitation or indemnification obligation will apply only to the maximum extent legally permitted and will be interpreted consistently with any non-waivable consumer rights or statutory protections applicable to you.
Suspension, Termination, and Disputes
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access where we reasonably determine that you materially violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unlawful conduct, compromised application security, improperly distributed proprietary materials, failed to satisfy applicable payment obligations, or otherwise materially misused the Services.
Termination does not eliminate obligations or liabilities that arose before termination. Provisions concerning accrued payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, disputes, and any other provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive termination.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be addressed in accordance with applicable law. Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you and Janeisha Cambridge agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the dispute through written notice describing the issue and the resolution requested.
Electronic Acceptance
By selecting “I Agree,” “Accept,” “Continue,” or a comparable acceptance control, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be legally bound by them. Your electronic acceptance has the same legal effect as agreeing to these Terms in writing to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
We may record your acceptance together with your account identifier, the date and time of acceptance, and the version of the Terms presented to you. These records may be retained as evidence of your agreement. Your use of the Services is also subject to the applicable Privacy Policy and any additional terms you accept.
Changes and Severability
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, subscription offerings, technology, business practices, or applicable legal requirements. When a material change affects your contractual rights, we will provide notice or request renewed acceptance before continued use where required by applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited, modified, or interpreted to the extent permitted by applicable law. The remaining provisions will continue in effect and will not be affected solely because another provision cannot be enforced.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable Privacy Policy and any checkout, subscription, purchase, promotional, or service-specific terms accepted by you, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services. If specific transaction terms conflict with these Terms, those specific terms will control for that transaction where legally permitted.
These Terms supersede prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements concerning the Services to the extent they address the same subject matter. No failure or delay in exercising a right under these Terms will constitute a waiver of that right or prevent its later exercise where permitted by applicable law.
